Pre-Camp Communication

We want to meet you in person!

Throughout the months leading up to camp, we create opportunities for you to meet our Owners and Directors face-to-face. We host Open Houses and camp tours in the spring before camp begins. This gives your family the chance to walk around the camp property, providing your child with the comfort of knowing what camp is like before the summer.

We also travel across Texas to meet camp families in their hometowns. We host informational parties so you can meet us in person and ask any questions you have about camp. If you live farther away and aren’t able to tour camp or meet us in person, you’re invited to attend one of our informational webinars or read the Camp Champions Blog, which will give you a good feel for what we do during the summer.

Before camp, we provide your family with a wealth of information and resources. In the spring, we’ll mail you a first time camper package. This special package is specifically designed to welcome new families to the camp community and get you and your child acquainted with camp. We include a First Time Parent Guide, which is an in-depth manual that answers many questions you may have.

Our goal is to provide you with as much information as possible before camp begins so that your family feels comfortable and confident in the summer camp experience.
