Dates & Rates Summer 2021

Owners and Executive Directors, Steve & Susie Baskin.Owners and Executive Directors, Steve & Susie Baskin.

Dear Parents,

One of our joys each year is welcoming the new campers that will become part of the Camp Champions family. However, due to a high return rate and lots of interest from new families, enrollment this summer will be limited. We waitlist multiple sessions each summer, therefore we would recommend registering your child as early as possible.

We strive to create a program that truly meets the needs of your family and your child. We want camp to more than “just” fun, but a place of rich learning and growth. With this in mind, we have developed a program that is a recognized national leader in camper outcomes. Put simply, campers leave Camp Champions more confident and capable (with new friends and a smile on their faces).

Camp is not inexpensive, but we are committed to providing the best possible experience and that requires meaningful investments in people, facilities and program. So, as you look at various camps and compare fees, we know that, although price is important, great value is even more important. Simply put, Camp Champions is a great value. Even beyond epic activities and excellent role models, camp becomes an investment in who your child will be in the future.

FAQ’s

There are only a couple additional costs for selected special activities, and they are entirely optional. If your child wants to take Horseback Riding or Elite Ski classes, there is an extra charge. These are specialized classes during which your child will receive advanced instruction instead of going to a regularly scheduled activity. For Elite Ski, your camper will wake up before breakfast to ski while the water is quiet and still. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to know more about these options.

The CAMParent section of our website keeps you in touch with what’s happening at camp, and it is provided with no strings attached! Pictures, articles, and more while your camper is at Champions—it’s almost like going to camp with your child!

If that isn’t enough, you’ll also get an 8×10 cabin picture and portrait of your camper!

Our camp store operates on the “Champ” system. Campers receive champs each week as part of the tuition that you pay. They get the opportunity to spend their Champs at our camp store, Kneeman Markus. You can purchase extra champs for your camper(s) by emailing or calling the camp office.

No need for money at camp – CHAMPS only!

Check out our camp store to order some Camp Champions apparel before camp begins.

We send out laundry once per week for those campers staying at camp for more than a single week session. Clothes are washed, dried, folded, and returned later that day.

Do items ever get mixed up? It happens occasionally, but for the most part the laundry service we use is exceptional. Any mix-ups that do occur are easily fixed if campers have their names marked in their clothes, so we certainly appreciate the effort from our parents to do so. Make sure to label everything CLEARLY with your camper’s name!
