We believe that we do not merely serve campers, but we serve their families. We strive to be partners with our parents as we help their children grow and thrive. We are committed to our mission to help each camper grow into a Champion, but we also know that active parent communication is critical to this effort. You know your child better than we do, but we understand the power of the camp experience as well as anyone. Together, we can help create the best experience for your camper.
With this in mind, we go to great lengths to communicate with our parents:
- Before camp even starts, we ask every parent to fill out a detailed survey about their child.
- At the end of the first week, one of your child’s counselors will give you a call to update you on their camp experience. If you miss this call, we will leave a detailed message.
- During camp, we welcome you to call us and share your thoughts, concerns and ideas.
- We were the first camp in the nation (we were featured in the Wall Street Journal) to provide daily photos and articles on a password protected internet site. We want you to be able to get a feel for the joyful experience of camp.
- We post between 150 and 200 pictures each day when camp is in session.
- We write several articles each day that keep you up to date on camp and help you understand what we are striving to accomplish with our campers.
- Parents will receive a final report on every camper to summarize how they did at camp.
